MISSION - WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to strengthen disaster response in America by rescuing and recruiting dogs and partnering them with firefighters and other first responders to find people buried alive in the wreckage of disasters. Since our inception in 1996, SDF has trained over 231 teams in California, Florida, Nebraska, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Baja California who have responded to over 200 disasters across the US and internationally.

SERVICES - HOW WE DO IT

Canine Training, Recruitment & Lifetime Care Recuing shelter & breed group dogs, training them to search for people buried alive or unconscious, partnering them with firefighters to form Search & Rescue Teams. These trained teams are then given free of charge to the Fire Departments
