Stephanie Morrison
Stephanie Morrison is the President and Founder of Giving Connection, a tech-for-good nonprofit dedicated to making it easier for people to find and connect with the local organizations that can support them. Through a free, easy-to-use search platform, Giving Connection helps individuals discover nonprofits by cause, service, and location, while helping small organizations reach the people who need them most. A former public defender in Nashville, Stephanie has spent her career at the intersection of justice, community, and access. Her legal background gave her a front-row seat to how difficult it can be for people to navigate fragmented systems of care, and how often help exists but is hard to find. That experience became the foundation for Giving Connection, which she launched to remove barriers between people and the nonprofits ready to serve them. Under Stephanie’s leadership, Giving Connection has grown into a rapidly expanding platform supporting thousands of nonprofits and community members across New Jersey and beyond, with active expansions in cities like Los Angeles and Nashville. She has worked with partners including Dell, AWS, Stanford, and Hack4Impact to bring innovative, human-centered technology to the nonprofit sector. Stephanie has participated in programs such as the AWS & Deloitte Social Entrepreneur Accelerator in Cape Town and the Stanford CS+Social Good Fellowship, where she collaborates with students to build tools that put people first. At the heart of Stephanie’s work is a simple belief: when people are connected to the right help at the right time, entire communities can change.
